At the center of our life is worship. Our parish gathers for worship at least three times a week–usually four or five times. We celebrate the Divine Liturgies of our Church. We sing the Divine Office of Vespers. Other times, we gather for praise or intercession. Though our weekday attendees are few in number, we are never alone. Countless saints from time immemorial gather with us to worship the one true living God.
In addition to our full liturgical life, we are blessed with an active–and growing–parish life. To draw to closer to Christ, we have to serve others whether they be in our parish or in the community at large. We call these services to others, “Ministries.”
This service to others, however, requires a firm foundation. It takes a lot of effort to run such an active parish! Thus, our Parish Council and its Committees exist to assist Fr. Lucas in the temporal administration of the church.
